Since childhood, I had one singular dream: to make it into an IIM. I poured every ounce of my energy into it—staying up night after night, sacrificing sleep, and dedicating years to that one goal. But sometimes, life has other plans. After two grueling attempts, I missed my selection by a mere 4 marks.

The Turning Point

It was my mother who pulled me out of that cycle. She looked at me and said, "One exam cannot decide the course of your entire life, and it certainly cannot define your worth."

Her words sparked something inside me. I realized that if I couldn’t get into a prestigious institution to study business, I would build a business of my own—something that came straight from the heart. I decided that if I couldn't find my place in a classroom, I would create a brand that finds a place in your homes and hearts.

That was the day Something Pretty was born.
